As we're currently in between craft series here on the blog, I've decided to post this one-off DIY for the Earnest Home 2015 Reader DIY Challenge. Erin has the most beautiful aesthetic taste and I've been a long time follower of her blog! This project is easily customizable - you can add hooks to hang your keys, pushpins for reminders, and store odds and ends on the shelves. Enjoy!

| Hot Glue Gun and Sticks | ArtMinds from Michaels |
- the corkboard -
one. Arrange and glue the corks into five petal flower. Use a thick layer of glue to ensure that they are securely attached.
two. Add a layer around to begin the hexagon shape
three. Add a second layer around the shape to make it larger
Tip: Feel free to add another layer or two to get a larger hexagon
- the shelf -
one. Follow Step 1-3 of the cork board instructions, but only glue the outermost layer together
- assemble -
one. Glue the hexagons together
Tip: Your hexagons can either share a side (seen below) or glue them side by side
two. Once you've glued together all your hexagons, hang onto your wall. Enjoy!
